The win was highlighted by outstanding performances from India’s batting and bowling units, particularly the heroics of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jasprit Bumrah.
Opting to bat after winning the toss, India set a formidable total of 396 runs in their first innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal stole the show with a spectacular double century, scoring 209 runs off 290 balls. Contributions from Shubman Gill (34), Shreyas Iyer (27), and Rajat Patidar (32) supported Jaiswal’s efforts.
